A Pink Papaya Review & Giveaway

I have found a new love.

I was recently introduced to the skincare line Pink Papaya, and I’ve been hooked on their products ever since. Not only has the pumpkin & goji berry anti-aging facial mask saved my life from stress induced breakouts, but the entire travel body line has been super convenient when jetting across the country once a month.

Lylith, the ever so amazing Pink Papaya consultant, was so sweet and also sent me a sample of their make up line. I played around with it, and felt as though I had gone to my favorite makeup counter heaven. Now by no means am I a makeup expert. In fact I just recently began to give much effort to the entire thought of makeup…creeping up on your 30s will do that to you.

I have been a loyal Bare Minerals girl for quite some time, but the Pink Papaya line has me sold. I love the way the makeup lays on my face and lasts all day. I am so used to applying makeup in the morning, and by midday wonder if I even put any on to begin with.

I tried out the following:

1. beauty balm in light, 2. liquid foundation in light3. eye shadows in taupe tan, demure, and twig, 4. liquiliner in anisette, 5. mineral matte blush in rose bud, 6. lip exfoliator (this stuff will keep your lipstick in place ALL day), 7. lip stain in pucker up pink

To begin, I moisturized with my usual skincare regime. I then applied Pink Papaya’s beauty balm which serves as a tinted moisturizer, primer, and foundation all in one.  Talk about multi tasking. Next, I used my own concealer and then topped it off with Pink Papaya’s liquid foundation. Next, I brushed Pink Papaya’s demure eyeshadow to my eyelids and used the twig shadow in the creases of my eye. I then applied a thin layer of the liquiliner to the top of my eye lids and extended it a tad past my eyelash. Next, I applied mascara. I then applied the mineral matte blush to my cheek bones, and followed with bronzer. I topped off my look with a little lip exfoliator, and then applied the lip stain. My makeup lasted all day, and was the perfect coverage for everyday, without looking overdone. The mineral base prevented any breakouts and actually enhanced my skin rather than covering it up.

Thank you Lylith and Pink Papaya for the fun opportunity.
